Golf at Cameron Park Country Club to benefit Breast Cancer
Cameron Park Country club will be hosting a charity golf event on August 17th, 2015 to benefit the Pink Ribbon Running Club.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Fund, which funds breast cancer early detection, education and awareness programs in El Dorado County. In addition, The Fund awards scholarships to high school seniors in El Dorado County who have had an immediate family member receive a cancer diagnosis.
Most scholarships are based on academic or athletic achievement, but this scholarship is based on life experience. It is a scholarship that no one wants to win; but is intended to help with the cost of college for a family struggling through a cancer experience.
We are a local family owned business. My father and brother operated Ace Locksmith from the early 90's through 2012. I joined them in 2010 and took over in 2012. My son and I are now running the business under the name of California Re-Key & Locksmith Services, but dad still occasionally consults.
